Central Hill Estate Saved from Demolition

11  years after ASH was first invited by the resident campaigners at Central Hill Estate to help them save their homes from demolition the estate is now saved, and refurbishment plans can finally begin.

This is a result of a number of events including the shift of power in Lambeth in may 2026 from a majority Labour council to a Green council, whose cabinet member for housing – Central Hill’s councillor Pete Elliot  – fought tirelessly to save Central Hill these past years.
